quickly, but often it may take up to three months before migrants find a position
that meets all requirements and satisfies the New Zealand Immigration
Service so that they will issue a visa.
The New Zealand Immigration Service only grants work
permits when employers can provide evidence that they are unable to recruit
locally, unless the migrant's qualifications are listed on the Occupational
