About Woodhill Bike Park - Auckland

The park is located within Woodhill Forest just 35 minutes Northwest of Auckland central. The Woodhill MTB Park is a world class mountain biking facility which has been developed to cater for all riding styles and ability levels.

The Woodhill Bike Park is the most popular mountain biking destination in New Zealand. It occupies around 500 hectares of Carter Holt Harvey forestry and provides over 100kms of riding, 50 plus trails and over 100 different man-made riding structures i.e. jumps, drops, north shore structures etc.

Woodhill is a commercially run park. Having full time staff driving the park means that while we do have riders who enjoy being involved, we don't have to depend on the kindness of volunteers to ensure that our trails and stunts are maintained, safe and continually growing in their numbers.

Woodhill is also a sand-based forest. This is hugely important as it means we can offer great riding year round as the trails are at their best in winter when the rain packs down the sand making the trails hard and fast instead of muddy and slippery.
